The Range Of Choices For Business Christmas Cards For Clients

Article by Hannah B. Greco

Yearly at Christmas the mailboxes fill with glossy advertising campaign and fliers. Companies that would like to send out appreciative business Christmas cards to their customers have to find a cheerful medium in the chaos of cards and ribbons and advertisements. There are several stylish yet fun selections for enterprise Christmas cards currently available and discovering the one which suits the company involved is just a matter of preference of the person choosing a business Christmas card to display the business’s style.

Business Christmas cards are available in just about all designs, shapes and sizes, exactly like any other Christmas card selection. Every business that desires to deliver business Christmas cards to workers and consumers as a show of gratitude could decide among sophisticated designs designed in seasonal colors or joyous cards designed in bright colors. Whether the texts are humorous and enjoyable or inspirational and well wishing, the choices for business Christmas cards are many and varied. Consumers and workers will love the cards of appreciation if they are picked carefully, designed to showcase the company and the products or services provided.

Employee business Christmas cards should be chosen with the thought of expressing thanks for service as well as good wishes for the Christmas season. Whenever a business sends out business Christmas cards to all workers, it fosters a feeling of being appreciated and shows appreciation. Customer business Christmas cards are chosen for very similar reasons, in appreciation for their business and seasonal cheer and good wishes for the future. Delivering these cards is a means for companies to invest in their workers and customers without paying a lot of cash per se, however the return of this kind of considerate gesture is quite good.

From elegant foils along with classy good wishes to vivid and festive cards packed with humor, business Christmas cards could be whatever the company so wants. Business Christmas cards employed to deliver well wishes to workers and clients as well can lead to good results for the business in that workers who are appreciated are effective and customers that are valued return once more. Good wishes aren’t tied to Christmas time only but there is absolutely no much better season to exhibit appreciation to workers and customers alike.

I need to write a Holiday thank you card for a BIG customer of my business. i have some idea of one like “Thank you for using our business for the past year! We wish you a merry christmass and a happy new year!”
something like that. so plz! help me!!!!!!!!

judim7 answers:

Jim asks…

is this a good idea for a business?

so i have to compete in DECA and i decided to choose the entrepreneur category. the business would be a card (like b-day, holiday, etc.) version of paint the town (a place where you get to paint ceramics) and basically we would have all the supplies there and then ppl would come in to creat their own personalized cards.

i have to write a business proposal and wanted to know if this was a somewhat decent idea.

judim7 answers:

That’s a great idea – for your proposal, you might want to use information you can get on scrap booking – a similar idea, but one that’s grown like crazy the last 10 years or so. They also have lots of store fronts, so you may be able to get statistics on that for your business plan as well.

Good luck!

Shelley asks…

CHRISTIANS — Would you / Will you boycott any business which uses “Happy Holidays” &/or “Seasons Greetings”?

Specifically, a business which uses those greetings in ads, on posters, on employee name tags, etc, and does not specifically mention Christmas.

judim7 answers:

Why is it the Christian who are a majority religion in the west are so much of the victim mentality with this?

Seasons greetings and happy holidays have been around for decades but its only now that people (particularly in the USA ) are making an issue out if it.

Utter stupidity

Mike asks…

Anyone familiar with Hungarian traditions for christmas.. *christmas!!*?

I’m doing a project for school and since I’m Hungarian I chose to do my project on Hungary. And since our next MAJOR holiday is Christmas the project has to deal with Christmas. So put it together and you get, CHRISTMAS IN HUNGARY. yes, yes. :)
alright now down to business.
I have a few questions that I’ve been searching on the web but I couldn’t find any reasonable answers to.

1.) What does the Hungarian santa (Mikulas) look like?
ex. the american santa is fat and jolly with a white beard, black boots, and a red outfit. *JUST A BRIEF DESCRIPTION PLEASE!*
2.) Does the Mikulas have any Christmas greetings..?
ex. american santa: HO HO HO!
3.) What are a few traditional meals that Hungarians eat on Christmas?
4.) Do the Hungarian’s decorate?
ex. american’s decorate their house and a tree.
5.) Does Mikulas drive a sleigh, does he have helpers, and what does he do to the bad kids?
6.) Do Hungarians have any other traditions that they do…?

Any answers would be helpful but I prefer short

judim7 answers:

First, Mikulás doesn’t traditionally have anything whatsoever to do with Christmas. He’s St. Nicholas, and his day is Dec. 6, when he deposits goodies (usually edible) in kids’ freshly-shined shoes. He doesn’t have a sleigh, he wears red bishop’s robes, and he is sometimes accompanied by a devil-like mischievous/scary being called the Krampusz.

The Christmas tree doesn’t go up until very late, by American standards. This is because the story told to the children is that the angels bring and decorate the tree on Christmas Eve, and the Baby Jesus brings the presents. The presents are opened on Christmas Eve; Christmas Day is for church-going and feasting.

There are a lot of old customs centered around Christmas which survive to varying degrees in the modern era. One is “going Bethlehem-ing” (Betlehemezés), which usually involved the boys and young men carrying a church with a nativity scene around the town, and reciting/enacting a small play centered on the announcement to the shepherds, with references to the search for an inn thrown in. There are some pictures here:

There are also various caroling traditions centered around Christmas, and Catholics have midnight Mass. (Protestants generally save the church-going for the 25th.)

As for meals, Christmas Eve is usually fish, and in some places, a dessert called “mákos guba”, which is small pieces of bread-like pastry, scalded in hot milk or water, with sweetened poppy seeds on top.

Christmas Day menus vary; any of the usual “feed a crowd” centerpiece meats (turkey, ham, roast beef) can show up. (I don’t have much personal experience with this end of things: my family’s various Christmas Eve commitments generally meant that we were all so tired by the the 25th that we were perfectly happy having the previous night’s leftover fish. It has become something of a tradition; we buy enough fish now to make sure we have plenty of leftovers.) Dessert almost always includes “beigli”, which is walnut or poppy seed rolls. (Instructions with pictures: http://www.wikihow.com/Make-Beigli-(Hungarian-Poppy-Seed-&-Walnut-Rolls) .)

I don’t know whether people decorate their houses with lights like we do in American suburbia. I don’t recall seeing any lit houses the one Christmas I spent in Hungary, but I may simply have been in the wrong places.

Steve asks…

How do you react if you only got a $.30 cent raise for the year?

I am an applications support analyst making 14.15 per hour. Started a year and a half ago after graduating with a BA in Business Admin concentrating in Mgt information systems. Review was meeting expectation but only got a raise of $0.30!!this year.

When I asked why so less I was told that they started me at a pretty high rate and is unable to give me a large raise because the people who have been working here for 8 years only make about $1-2 more than me.

Obviously I am pretty upset about this and I feel that my hard work and ability has not paid off throughout the year and will be actively seeking for new employment with another firm. There is also no oppurtunities to move up. They said they do tuition reimbursement but when I asked about doing my MBA the program will not apply for MBA candidates. They only pay for BA’s and there is a limit of $3500/year is reimbursement.

We did not get anything for xmas, no bonus at all. Just a $25 gift card from the dpt vp ouf of his pocket!
Exactly! Thank you. I felt as if it was an insult to my ability. I have done so much, learnt so much in a short period of time and have been taking more work load than anyone else so that I can learn more and prove myself and I got a louse .30/hour. I’m dissapointed even at the response I got as to why its so low.
Yes, I never bring emotions out at work and I am trying to put together evidence of my good work by printing complimentary emails from my managers, accomplishments, work loads etc etc.

I am very professional and scored the highed you can on people skill and team work. I have so many managers sending praises about my patience in helping them etc to my boss.

So I will voice this out after the New Year and let it be known in a constructive manner. Talking to my boss is what I am thinking and leave it at that and look for a new job with better prospect and leave nicely. I just want them to know that no one else would be happy either so they dont repeat the same mistake.

Not to mention, the women in my group are B*TCHES to work with LOL. They stressed me and bullied me so much when I was new, I was about to burst one day but thk god I kept my cool and came back with a renewed version watching my back Allll the time.
FYI..I am happy with my life and what I do. This is just to get a reaction of general people to keep my own feelings in check to make sure I am not being too demanding. I am a Great employee and deserve to be paid more than what I got.

Be grateful multiply .30 x 40 x 52 it’s better than a fruitcake! Thats actually a high raise for making less than 31k
